About the Erasmus+ programme

Erasmus+ offers a range of opportunities for Dutch organisations to access funding for education, training, youth and sport activities.

The Erasmus+ programme gives people the chance to study, train, gain work experience and volunteer abroad. It aims to improve skills and career prospects, especially for young people in the Netherlands.

Erasmus+ also supports transnational partnerships among Education, Training, Youth and Sport organisations to encourage cooperation and connect education with the workplace. This helps to reduce skill gaps in Europe. It also supports Dutch national efforts to modernize the education, training, youth and sports sector through innovation. In the field of sport, Erasmus+ also aims to tackle issues such as intolerance, discrimination, doping and match-fixing in sport.

Which funding is available?

The Dutch National Agencies Erasmus+ manage the following local funding opportunities:

  • Education and Training funding opportunities
  • Funding for Youth projects.
  • Funding for Sports.

The following funding opportunities are run by the European Commission’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA):

  • Sport funding opportunities.
  • Jean-Monnet activities.

Impact

The Erasmus+ programme makes impact, but what does “impact” mean for your project? How can you make sure your project has the largest impact possible?

The Dutch National Agency Erasmus+ Education & Training has developed a tool to help you. To take the first step, go to the Impacttool and make impact with Erasmus+. For the impact tool, there are impact folders available in 23 languages. In addition, the Erasmus+ Impact Handbook is also available to help you maximise the impact of your project. You can download the handbook in English and eight other languages.
